X-Ray film recycling X-Ray film retention in all other states>Delaware Delaware state law for x-ray film and other medical records retention period.State laws and regulations require health care providers to keep medical records for a specific period of time. Doctors, hospitals and physicians in Delaware must keep x ray film and medical record at least 7 years
after the last entry date on the medical record. Hospitals must keep x-ray films
and medical records at least 5 years. Please note that the federal law requires a retention period of 5-7 years for adults and up to 19 years old for minors.
